Life in Nottingham

Nottingham is one of the UK's most attractive and fast-developing cities. It has some of the best shopping facilities outside London and many historic attractions, including Nottingham Castle, the underground caves and the Lace Market.

With two universities, it is also an extremely popular destination for students from all over the world.

Nottingham's location allows easy access to the beautiful English countryside including Sherwood Forest and the Peak District National Park.

As well as a huge number of bars and restaurants, Nottingham has several cinemas, two theatres, a concert hall, and the Nottingham Arena, a venue for pop and rock concerts.

The city also has internationally recognised sporting venues including the International Test Cricket Ground at Trent Bridge and Holme Pierrepont Water Sports Centre, along with two league football clubs - Nottingham Forest and Notts County.
